In Henry's own words: "It sounds like a chapter from a Peter Rabbit story."
Well, even though it hurt that they laughed for quite a long time about the title, it still made me happy that what first came to Henry's mind was Peter Rabbit (though I usually like to associate myself with Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail - the good bunnies).
Blueberry Barn sits on a cliff with a wonderful view of the tide flats and sea. Spectacular summer sunsets glow through our windows at the end of nice days, and on not-so-nice days we fall asleep to the rain drumming on our metal roof. It's a small space, but it's perfect for a movie-making husband, his crafty wife, their cute little corgi, and the many friends that come to call. A home doesn't have to be big, as long as it's filled with love, it will always be a safe-haven for those who live there and visit.
So please, come over for a visit and lets get to know each other. I'll make a pot of tea and maybe some cookies and we'll talk out in the sunshine. And I'll share with you what life is like at Blueberry Barn.
"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"
-Jeremiah 29:11-
Aww. What a nice little greeting. Most people have an About Me on their blog, but this is the sweetest one I've ever seen. Juneau is beautiful!
